The Faerie Realm is the native reality of the fae — a place shaped as much by story, symbol, and relationship as by land or matter. Time flows irregularly there, responding to cycles, emotion, and narrative weight rather than linear progression.
Before the Cataclysm, the Faerie Realm overlapped freely with the world through the Veil. After the collapse, it withdrew into relative isolation. Only now, as the Veil thins once more, do controlled crossings and unstable echoes reappear.
The Faerie Realm is not ruled by geography, but by courts, domains, and sovereignties. Some of these are political; others are elemental or conceptual. Mortals attempting to describe it often mistake metaphor for terrain — a dangerous error.
